What do you say to a group of people that loved, protected with their lives, and cared for your sister like their own flesh and blood? There are no words to describe that kind of gratitude. It’s a humbling feeling of peace and unconditional love. We could say thank you to each individual that cared for her throughout her life twice a day for 100 years and it would never compare to the appreciation in our hearts.

Tonya is one of the most difficult cases they face. The ladies that care her for everyday are warriors. No amount of head butts, bruises, and stress stopped them from coming back day after day. There are not enough awards in heaven for that kind of dedication and strength. You all are my sisters. I’m proud to be apart of a group of such incredible lovely women.

You were tested to level that most cannot take. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. Tonya only allows the strongest in her home. Please know that you make a difference everyday to her, to my family, and to everyone you love and care for. Caregivers are the unsung heroes of the special needs community. They love and care like family with none of the perks. Mad Respect for these iron clad ladies!
