Meditation is not for me.
Having thoughts means that we are alive and breathing and approaching meditation thinking that our brain can just shut off and stop having an incoming flow of thoughts, is pretty much an illusion.
Having a regular and consistent meditation practice teaches us to be with ourselves, regardless of the incoming thoughts. It teaches us to be the observer. It benefits us and all those that we come in contact with day in and day out.
There are practical strategies that we can put into practice and experience how it feels. Approaching each day with an open mind and an open heart does makes a beneficial difference.
Begin with a few minutes, start to experience for yourself and see what works for you.
