Too much Doubt to be Just Reasonable- Cedric Marks

Cedric Marks is condemned to die, affirmed by the state of Texas. His crime that he was convicted of: the double murder of Jenna Scott and Michael Swearingen. 

The prosecution posited that he had the means and opportunity to commit the crime. 

But what about the possibility that he may not have done it. It wouldn't be the first time Texas railroaded the wrong man, going so far as to complete an execution.

Exculpatory Evidence that should've been highlighted:

  1. the injuries of the victims 
  • the lack of marks on Cedric at arrest 
  •  Jenna's phone being on after Cedric's arrest 
  •  the dogs not hitting on the house the pair were murdered in supposedly 
  •  the fact that his DNA was excluded in all areas tested by police but an unknown male was identified 
  •  Maya: at the time was never photographed at her arrest
