Dr. Nancy Dome and Dr. Jennifer Jeffries founded the RIR protocol many years ago at CSU San Marcos as a means to improve communication around issues of equity. Today the protocol has transformed into a universal tool to be used in interpersonal, intra-personal, and institutional scenarios for when people need to engage in Compassionate Dialogue™. Right now we live in a very rigid socio-political climate, the tools these two women developed have never been as necessary as they are today.
