Many years into the outbreak, some set off the coast and into the sea, where a new way of life begins: free of zombies and free of laws. Nails is an orphan roped into a life that all orphans inherit on the Atlantic: fighting in Deathmatches. Nails' master has a small empire of fighters, with Nails as the best one yet. When his master's plans for him change and Nails encounters a friend in this life, can a kid like Nails change his destiny, or will he always be nothing but a killer for sport?
