Frederick "Toots" Hibbert (1942–2020) was a legendary Jamaican singer, songwriter, and the frontman of the band Toots and the Maytals. Hibbert won two Grammy Awards for Best Reggae Album: in 2005 for True Love and posthumously in 2021 for his final studio album, Got to Be Tough. Rolling Stone ranked him number 71 on its list of the 100 Greatest Singers of All Time.
