Tea is the most consumed beverage on earth behind water.  For a beverage to be “tea,” it has to contain leaves from a specific plant.  The leaves must come from the Camellia Sinensis.  What most people refer to as Herbal tea is not tea. It is called a tisane- an infusion of fruit, leaves, herbs, flowers, or other plant parts into the water.
