The bottom third of the Pirates order comes to the plate in the top of the third, led by Devante Nairn, who now bears the Curse of the Swarm, an ancient plague that has afflicted Pittsburgh second basemen since the inception of the club. Will the flies oozing from his face prevent him from getting a rally started?
