The Atlanta City Council announced earlier this week that the 20th of October 2021 will be celebrated as "Lil Nas X Day" to recognise and thank the artist for his contribution to the city. 5FM's very own Nick Archibald managed to jump in on the official press conference to hear the proclamation read out for the very first time.
