I review three films this week - James Gunn’s first venture into the DC world, The Suicide Squad (2021) which tries to bounce the franchise back from the weak first outing, Val (2021), an autobiographical documentary about Val Kilmer’s career, and finally, the scariest thing I saw all week, Woodstock ‘99: Peace, Love, and Rage (2021), which looks at the horrific disaster that was Woodstock ‘99.
