On this episode of the Straight Outta WAC podcast, Kyle breaks down his top-5 wins of the non-conference slate. Utah Valley over BYU. New Mexico State with two wins on the list. Grand Canyon and Stephen F. Austin all part of the top-5 wins.
In all reality, it was a pretty solid run for WAC teams. At least at the top. Chicago State won four games and all against Division I competition. That is pretty wild. One of those wins was a true road game, too.
It should make for an interesting conference season. Three teams are now considered Quad I wins. New Mexico State, Utah Valley and Grand Canyon are 67, 68, and 69 in the NET Rankings. Abilene Christian is also in the top-100 at 96.
Could this make the WAC a two-bid league? It is possible but slim. Kyle explains his thoughts on how this could possibly happen.
And Kyle also explains why you need to subscribe to the podcast with a ton of content coming up throughout the conference season. It all begins Monday so buckle up.
