Readers are leaders. That’s why women are writing the books now. They are the leaders, and women are the readers. The popular books dwell on personal experience, self-help, the apocalypse, Christian horror, and miscellaneous unedifying fodder. But what makes for edification? That’s the bigger question. Here’s the conclusion. Let’s focus more on the work of God than the work of man . . . and more on the Word of God than the word of man.
