Top-Down vs Bottom Up Approaches: 101 In this episode, I go into some depth of what the Top-Down therapy approach looks like and what theories are involved, and then take you on the journey from doubt of to eventual transformation from the Bottom Up approach.Â
These terms are thrown around on the internet in brief, and this is the 101 course on them. Right now, on your IG feed, you probably see both approaches- my therapy account's FYP is definitely Bottom-Up focused, so I'm unsure if that's truly what's trending or if it's just on my feed- but it's unlikely you haven't been exposed to this approach in one way or another.Â
Make sure to go to the next part of this episode so you can see my integration of the bottom-up approach and how I blend it with two of my favorite top-down theories!
