Now he’s flying high in Navy’s Fighter Weapons School with the best of the best who are all better than the betters that they best. He’s good, that’s what we’re trying to say. He also navigates a relationship with Charlie (Kelly McGillis) the flying school’s no-nonsense astrophysics instructor! It’s up to Maverick to win the girl, the trophy and the title of TOP GUN!
