Karen Attiah was the last black, full-time staff columnist in the Washington Post’s Opinions section before she was summarily fired via email after 11 years of incredible, thoughtful work. So she filed a grievance and just went to arbitration. Because when we can fight, we must fight. And Karen is doing just that. She joined Katie Phang to talk about the continued demise of editorial independence and the parallels between her case and the firing of Scott Pelley.
