Everything is virtual or digitized these days and the NBA is no exception. In the latest form of tradable digital assets the NBA has introduced Top Shot, an exchange of collectible moments of everyone’s favorite players. As the trading card game has boomed over last few years collectors and fans alike are trying to cash in on the scarcity and nostalgia of memorabilia, in whatever form that might take. It’s like a certain uncle used to say everyone needs to collect something and even if just for the fun it will be interesting to see when (and how far) this thing takes off.
