Today we're covering something that I feel like comes up in pretty much every chat I have with an entrepreneur, someone considering starting a business, or in a career context... balance!
This is a huge and very personal topic, at the end of the day a lot of it comes down to each individual as a person, but it's still super interesting to hear everyone's personal take on finding balance.
To give us her take on things, today we have Alliv on Pep Talk, co-founder of Kami, an ed-tech start-up.
Kami means paper in Japanese, and (in a very basic description!) is like a virtual pen and paper for educators and students – which during Covid lockdown, has absolutely exploded. These guys have gone from having 1 million sign-ups a year in 2019, to 1 million sign-ups a month now.
On top of that, while also surviving a global pandemic with the rest of us, Alliv and her co-founder and husband Henjie, have also welcomed their first baby and started a family. What. A. Rollercoaster.
I can't wait to hear Alliv's take on things and hear some tips from her on how she manages to balance raising a tiny human with scaling-up a tech start-up and riding a huge growth wave, all during a global pandemic...
