This Torah begins with a very deep Zohar in Parashat Bereshit which states: “3 emerge from 1. 1 is maintained by 3. 1 ascends between 2. 2 provide for 1. 1 provides for a number of directions.”

Rabeinu explains this Zohar in connection with the 3 gifts that Am Yisrael received in the dessert: the cloud, the well, and the manna.

Rabeinu goes into many different subjects and ties them all together into the subject of the lesson. These ideas include: Moshe Rabeinu/the tzadik, the covenant, war, the forefathers, Da’at, novel Torah ideas, healing, upright people of the generation, Shabbat, speech, grandeur, the Divine Presence, etc…
