Rabeinu wrote a manuscript for this lesson in bullet point form, leaving us very confused as to what he intended to teach us with this lesson, but Rebbe Nathan explains to us a bit of the deeper meaning of what Rabeinu explains:
Teshuva enables one to nullify time entirely, elevating time within the aspect of “beyond time.” Once a person does teshuva, he strengthens the voice of holiness and weakens the voice of Esav, the voice of evil! We also learn that the essence of true teshuva is dependent on the holiness of one’s thoughts. Also, all suffering and judgements are because we exist under the realm of timed but once we do teshuva and nullify time, we thereby nullify suffering and the grasp of the evil side!
