Tori Tadiar (@haitori) is an award-winning author and illustrator who is behind Highsummer, a middle-grade Filipino graphic novel series to be released by Disney Hyperion in 2024. She also won the Komiket Best Komiks Award in 2017 for her Filipiniana fantasy comic Sagala.

She joins the show to talk about the intersections of her life as an artist and an IT professional in P&G, the power of comic books in a world of streaming, and her aspirations to promote the Filipino culture thru her comic books.
