The CPSC and Toro are recalling the Toro Power Max 826 OHAE Snowthrowers with model number 37802. The auger may fail to disengage when the control lever is released posing a real threat of amputation for the operator or bystanders. About 6700 of these units have been sold at Ace Hardware, Home Depot, and Toro authorized dealers across the country. Additional units were sold online via the websites for these retail companies.
