You don't need something new. You need to recall what you once knew. Our entire spiritual life is one of remembering and reminders. The Holy Spirit reminds us. The word of God reminds us. Peter will remind us too. He wants to stir us up and get us fully awake to God. You don't need a renewal as much as you need a reminder.
