From last week’s venture to 1986, we jump all the way to 2022 for the sequel!! This movie is about three years in the making as COVID pretty much put a hold on everything! We saw the trailer for Top Gun Maverick at Comic Con International in 2019! So, we are indeed talking about this much anticipated sequel!

“After more than 30 years of service as one of the Navy’s top aviators, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodging the advancement in rank that would ground him. Training a detachment of graduates for a special assignment, Maverick must confront the ghosts of his past and his deepest fears, culminating in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those who choose to fly it.”

If you were a fan of the original, I think you’re also going to live it’s predecessor! This movie seems to be much like the first, but not in a complete remake way, but it seems to borrow all of the fun parts of the original movie, and add some new things. It’s by and large, definitely, a Top Gun film! It’s worth the watch, and worth the time, even if you might not be the biggest Tom Cruise fan!
