Ahhh, misinterpretation….arguably THE most problematic issue that people face when it comes to getting to the original, true and correct meaning behind a passage of Scripture in the Bible. Point blank, people don’t understand Scripture – or they misinterpret and thus misapply it – because 9 times outta 10 they didn’t examine the context BEHIND the text which would have given them greater understanding OF the text. This is one of the biggest reasons why people misquote and MISINTERPRET the Bible.
