Brown is a queer young adult novelist from Philadelphia who's first book All That's Left in the World was popular enough to recently appear on a list of books being requested to be pulled from a school library. His upcoming book Lose You To Find Me is based on his high school job at a retirement home (where he met Producer Matt). Also he lives in a haunted house!
