There’s a lot of misinformation out there, and unfortunately, many treatments only focus on symptoms rather than the root cause. In this episode, I break down what’s really going on with eczema and how understanding the deeper causes can help you manage it more effectively.

Key pointers from this episode:

• Keep a food diary for 3-4 weeks 
• Note down everything you eat/drink
• Note down any flare ups and the days they happen
• Note down any stressful days in diary (see if stress is also trigger)
• At the end of the 3/4 weeks go back over your diary and see if there’s any patterns on flare ups etc

• If you find any patterns with foods, eliminate them from your diet entirely for 3-4 mths 
• Then start to reintroduce them 1 at a time to see if any cause a flare up, if it does eliminate completely 
• Start probiotic rich diet: kefir, fermented foods (full of beneficial gut bacteria - helps replenish), sour dough bread also contains good bacteria (lactobacillus) - bread is not enemy (proper bread.. not shop bought)
