Episode Summary: Chad has carried his feelings for Imogen in secret for longer than either of them care to admit. When Imogen's relationship with John falls apart, Chad sees what may be his only window — and throws himself through it, cookies and Grease lyrics and all. Imogen is sharp, funny, and thoroughly unconvinced, standing her ground against every compliment, comparison, and romantic plea Chad can muster. But beneath her armour is a woman who has filed away every look, every Valentine's Day card she never sent, and every moment she almost let herself believe. Episode One ends not with surrender, but with a door slam that sounds suspiciously like a beginning.
