Agriculture in Zimbabwe is overseen by the Ministry of Agriculture. Agriculture accounts for 18% of Zimbabwe's GDP as of 2015. Agriculture enabled people to produce surplus food. There are different crops that farmers grow and some of these include, maize, sorghum, rapoko, groundnuts, round-nuts and beans. In this session, we had the priviledge of having Ms Lucy Kundai Zvaraya to discuss on how well farmers are faring in the southern part of Zimbabwe.

Introduction
Ms. Lucy Kundai Zvaraya is qualified Agronomist for all farm advisory, based out of Zimbabwe. She also runs a consultancy outfit called AgronomyBae Consultancy that deals majorly in Farm Project Management, Farm Advisory & Budgets. Other things include farm advisory, employee training, crop choice, soil tests, budgets, project planning, crop nutrition, disease and pest management and all things Agronomy.
