We are getting there y’all. One of the best and worse things I’ve learned and experienced during this path I’m on is having hard conversations; both hearing them and initiating them. The level of panic and discomfort that it creates is insane, and it’s because we don’t grow up having them, there is a shield that elders want to keep in front of the eyes of the youth to keep them optimistic about life, but it’s a thin line to balance. On one end you can shield too much and let someone in the wild with no real knowledge of how life works and how to process overcome or deal with adversity. On the flip side releasing too much can create a callused soul. Hardened to the point of anger resentment and chaos. Our minds are beyond fragile and take daily care to nurture them even as adults. So, let's talk about it. We gotta go through something to get somewhere so let's do it together.
