This episode features Aaron Davison from http://www.howtolicenseyourmusic.com/ speaking with saxophonist Todd Forman. Todd played saxophone and recorded with the original line up of the band sublime and toured the world with the second incarnation of the group, Sublime With Rome, in 2010 playing for crowds as big 80,000 people in Brazil and playing venues like Red Rock, Jones Beach ampi-theatre and many more. After a year and half touring with the band, Todd decided that the lifestyle wasn’t for him and decided to walk away from what would be a dream job for many musicians. During our conversation Todd talks about what it was like playing with Sublime in the early days, the circumstances that led to singer Brad Nowell’s death in 1996, and what it was like to live the life of a rock star for a year and a half.
