Since the lockdown started, The City of Durban has launched a series of virtual campaigns to engage with tourists and to remind them of what they were missing. This included the “Rediscover Durban” campaign, which showcased some of the city’s tourism treasures.
During the month of September, the City will be advocating for the public to know their city and its heritage, much of which is embedded in the tourism sector and infrastructure of the city. The campaign will take South Africa on a digital historical journey of the City and people will rediscover Durban through a multi-media campaign that will profile the City’s milestones from its birth to present day.
