Welcome to another episode of Tech for Good Live, a podcast all about using technology to drive positive outcomes for people and planet. But more often than not, highlighting the many ways tech is causing havoc in our daily lives.
If you're a long time listener, you’ll know that we’re quite a cynical bunch, but when we do hear stories of tech used to drive positive impact in the world, we’re all the more ecstatic and can’t wait to tell you more about them.
This week we are talking about rampant inequality and its effects on people’s happiness, a new social media platform designed to stop you from doom scrolling (hurrah!), and the metaverse coming for your soul.
Dama Sathianathan is on hosting duties and is joined by TFGL team members Greg Ashton and Paul Jakubowski.
Our special guest this week is Kathryn Dingle, Digital Product Manager at NPC, an organisation helping charities, funders and policy makers to maximise social impact. She is also a volunteer Co-Director for IC Change UK, a campaign to create a world where women are free from violence.

Also, please don't forget this podcast is run by volunteers and we survive on sponsorships and donations. Right now one of our primary goals is to make sure all of our podcast episodes are accessible by making sure EVERY episode is transcribed. Sadly this costs money and we desperately need your help to make this become a reality! So if you've ever tuned into one of our podcasts or attended one of our events please consider chipping in the price of a cup of coffee.
