We've all heard phrases like "God won't give you more than you can handle" or "it's all a part of God's plan". Maybe we've even used similar phrases to try and comfort someone who is going through a difficult time. But are phrases like this helpful or harmful? Is it possible that in our attempt to be positive, we become toxic? Today we are talking about just that; giving examples of toxic positivity and suggesting responses that would be more biblical and helpful to those who are hurting.
