Certain toxins are labeled obesogens- causing obesity, diabesogens (causing the obesity that leads to diabetes), carcinogens (causing cancer) and now, toxins are called endocrine disrupting chemicals- interfering with all the hormones- estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, thyroid, pituitary, cortisol, melatonin and affecting the hormones that regulate appetite.
