The Clarity Tapes

Track 02: Before the Tape Broke - Lessons from My Unedited Life

Listen Later

Before the breaking point I shared in Track 01, there was a whole side of my story most people never heard.
The late nights, the wrong people, the missed blessings, and the moments I gave to others who could never give back.

In this track, I’m pressing rewind and taking you back to life before the middle. I’ll share how years of unhealthy relationships, misplaced priorities, and missed opportunities led me to a season where God stripped away my environment and mindset — not to punish me, but to rebuild me.

You’ll hear:

  • Why giving without boundaries left me empty
  • How God used a waiting period to reset my foundation
  • The lessons He taught me about love, patience, perseverance, trust, and why His “no” is still love
  • How biblical truth changed the way I view my past and my future

Today’s affirmation: “My past doesn’t define me — it prepared me.”

Journal prompt: Think back to the times in your life when God removed people, opportunities, or habits — even the ones you thought you wanted to keep. What did that season teach you about yourself? About Him?

If you’re in a season where God is stripping things away, this track is your reminder that sometimes the hardest edits make the most beautiful tracks.
