Digital transformation has been set as this year's G20 agenda by the Indonesian presidency noting the trajectory of technological innovation and developments within the digital world. The pandemic has served as a momentum for the digital agenda to take flight in its adoption in many sectors of community life, from its integration within economic transactions, its shifts and proliferation of cultural ideas, and adoption in political agendas. However, despite the big political spotlight, there are still many issues needed to be addressed in order to further ensure the process of digital transformation. From issues like addressing the digital gap fostered by digital illiteracy, unequal digital infrastructure, cybersecurity resiliency, data protection, data sovereignty, models of electronic payments, to smart city concepts, we invite you to listen in to our talk with Professor Suhono Harso Supangkat as the Director of Smart Cities and Communities Innovation Center ITB, the Co-Chair of Taskforce 2 on the G20 Digitalization Team, and working Senior Advisor of Defense Industry and Policy Community Committee of the Ministry of Defense specializing in cybersecurity, as we discuss the on-going efforts the T20 has mobilized to create smarter societies and defining what it means to live smartly.
