Welcome to TRACKS FOR A CASTAWAY! Hosts Andres Soto and Ryan Whyman, two composers based in LA, interview members of our community while asking them to choose 6-8 songs they’d bring to a desert island. This format is a homage to a beloved BBC radio show that has been going on since the 40s. Usually things start lighthearted, but with each song we are able to get to know our guests in a more intimate manner.

Our first guest is Marlaina Smith, an emerging Texas-born actor and singer/songwriter. She appears in the universally acclaimed show The Chosen, and recently she released two comedic short films: Mountain Bois and Girl Control.
