Traders in Oti Region are appealing to the government for an extension of the early evening curfew hours from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. The curfew, implemented to restore peace following a communal conflict in November 2023, has negatively impacted the local economy, particularly affecting women traders who rely on evening business hours.
