In our continuing push here at Church Militant to keep you informed as much as possible, we are dedicating resources to an ongoing project we call "Turf War" — largely an effort of our Church Militant Resistance where we hit the streets in dioceses all around the country and "get local." We visit with and get real with faithful Catholics on the ground, Catholics who know what's going on in their local church regarding corruption and big problem areas. We spend a few days with them to bring you the story up close and personal.

Recently, we went to Baltimore and discovered an enormous problem with the Maryland state Catholic bishops' conference. We think this story and this Turf War are so important for you to watch that we are presenting this special, first-ever Saturday Vortex.
