Traditions are a beautiful aspect of our Catholic faith and our lives; they can be filled with meaning and help root us in Christ. However, there are times when traditions can get in the way and hinder our growth. Such is the case in this weekend's Gospel, when the Pharisees were so attached to their traditions, that they were missing what truly mattered.
