The most unassuming overnighter in the backwoods of New Hampshire ever to trouce. Deep in the beauty of the glades, the Lost River Valley came to an awesome trailhead when I discovered to my amazement, shock and horror, that I may not ever see the light of day... that I may not get out of these woods alive with the threat of animals and nature not on my side. Today, I sojourn deeply and get into it deeper... my flimsy tent and my beckoning coffee were my only solace. There was a certain fear, pathos with no outlet. Denied by the hemlocks, where hellish blue Jays morphed into little flying bastards... and the Lost River Valley itself, and the valley floor. Hades takes a back trip with myself... or not... depending on your stamina, you will not be disappointed.
