In today's episode I am talking about a valuable skill for trail riders: Ponying Horses. This basically means, leading a horse while riding another. It is a skillset which comes in handy while training young horses, leading a packhorse, riding with a young child or a beginner or bringing home the horse of an injured rider. In short, every rider should know how to pony a horse and every horse should get used to being ponied or having another horse being ponied alongside him.
