In this podcast Dr israr Ahmed explained that everyone has its own perception of good deed e.g "when a thief stole something from a shop then he distribute few portion of stolen to poor and feels like that he has done good deed" but in reality good deeds acceptable by Allah S.W.T are mentioned in Quran and Hadees and we should only recognised those deed as good which are describe by Allah S.W.T as good.
