<p>Welcome to Sci-Fi Throwdown!&nbsp; At one time, the genre of science fiction was not considered serious literature, the stuff of mostly pulp magazines and mere entertainment.&nbsp; Readers of the genre will know this has not been the case for quite some time, and that there has been a surge in careful and critical analysis of science fiction developing for decades.&nbsp; As former philosophy students now involved in the corporate world, we hope to contribute to this trend by interpreting and analyzing work within the genre. &nbsp;</p>
