Melissa is the founder of Back to 1776,  a grassroots movement of everyday Americans who understand the long term importance of teaching our children truth. The rising generation are our future leaders. We will do everything in our power to instill a love of America in their hearts so that generations to come can fully partake of the freedoms unique to this great country. 

The Because They Were Brave podcast is dedicated to sharing the stories of the men and women who helped shape America into what it is today. The values, the perseverence and details you didn't learn in history class!  All shared in episodes that are short, family friendly and historically accurate.
