Welcome to The Blabcast, my name is Emily. The Blabcast is a play on words that illuminates the art of networking and soft skills. I started this podcast to create a digital library of networking conversations I embark on. I have technically been networking since 2019, sending LinkedIn dms to people I find interesting or Syracuse University alum doing impactful work. Although realistically I network everyday, in grade school the most popular piece of feedback I received was that I talked too much. I find that piece of feedback to be my biggest strength, and this podcast will show just that. I will speak with guests whom I already have built a connection with and new people who inspire me or I find intriguing. I will talk with people from various industries such as music, sports, research, and entrepreneurship to name a few. We will dive into their life and discuss their current endeavors, the communities they've built or joined along the ride, and pinpoint their successes and hardships.
