The show’s purpose is to showcase all the great work by individuals and organizations to create a more diverse and inclusive world that directly or indirectly improves people’s health by creating equity and access. The concept for the podcast grew out of the following:

The idea all of us need to be prioritizing healthcare, personal health, the concept of what it means to be healthy, and what we consider wellness differently.

That we all need to be better informed and engaged in discussing health, especially those that impact equity.

Highlight all the great health equity work people did, not just in healthcare spaces or by healthcare professionals, but also share stories from non-healthcare spaces.

Tales from people who were improving our wellness through their activism, their passion, and often just by showing us a different way to envision health.

Share stories that we may not automatically connect with health, wellness, and healthcare from creative spaces.

Share stories from fields we don’t associate with health equity efforts.

Talk with people passionate about the concept of health over wealth acquisition as a way to measure success.

Discuss health data in accessible language and how it impacts our lives.
