Welcome to the Ash & Shy: Pure-Prison Show
For almost ten years….
I was housed in the most appalling conditions guarded by power hungry people who often have no business in a position of authority.
I met so many women who like me were never given the opportunity to speak up during the sentencing and incarceration period, from fear, even when interviewed, DOC and the mainstream media put their own twist on the words and acts.
In the time we spend together we will be going inside the walls, now, hearing from currently incarcerated women and dish their side of the story. We will also be speaking with formerly incarcerate women and hear their success and other stories.
Where they started and where they are now, their thoughts and feelings about their crime, everyday life, rants and anything in between.
Our purpose is to provide those behind bars now, and those who were, an unfiltered platform to speak out. To let them know that there are people that want to hear their stories, their voice, and that they are not forgotten. ~Shy
