The talking snake is not just an event back in the Old Testament; it is a prophecy about what will happen now in this age in reality. 

People who are like the Pharisees and the scribes are the church leaders of today who speak lies differing from the Bible. “The dragon” is “the serpent, the viper, the brood of vipers, the devil and Satan.” They use God's name and Jesus’ name, but they are the enemies of God. This is why God has compared their lies differing from the Bible to ‘poisonous wine, the venom of serpents and the deadly poison of cobras.’ “The day” to punish Leviathan the twisted serpent [Isaiah 27:1] is the 21st century “now in this age.”

The judgment has already begun.

You have to get away from the false tongue of the serpent while your body is alive, and turn back to the Truth, to the Word of the new covenant, to the eternal gospel that is declared through the Spirit of Truth,
