This is a clip from Episode 15 of One Good Take, when I was talking with Alexia Melocchi of Little Studio Films.
Alexia is something of a polymath – she started out as a sales agent, making use of her language skills – she only speaks 5 languages, by the way – then turning her hand to producing independent films.
Over the years, she’s added to those roles, becoming a manager of the talent she works with, as well as consulting and packaging for a whole range of projects in TV and film. She has a tendency, she says, to want to look after stray cats – by which, she means people and projects that need a home. Well, I think we can all warm to that. Listen to the full episode when it’s published later today.
